The internet is convinced Elon Musk’s xAI trolled OpenAI’s ‘Dots’ launch
After OpenAI launched the persistent AI agent Dots, dot.com was revealed to belong to Elon Musk’s xAI and currently redirect to the Grok chat app’s download page. Whois records show the domain changed hands in July; xAI does not own similarly spelt domains such as bot.com or vot.com. X user @birdabo first spotted it, prompting speculation that Musk was trolling OpenAI’s new product.
