What happened

AI digest

Google has announced that its SynthID AI content detector is now available worldwide, with a standalone site, SynthID.com, open to anyone. SynthID is an invisible signal encoded into the pixels of AI-generated images and video and into audio waveforms. Google says Gemini alone has embedded SynthID in more than 180 billion images and videos, plus 240,000 years' worth of audio. With the improvements, the detector now supports watermarks from all partners.
